When i prepared for my monologue, i did what ms. boyd told us to do. Repetition is the key~~ You read the first line, then try to memorize it, then read the second line and try to memorize the first line and so on. U need to often go back and repeat what you read~~ it's magic :3 what i also did was divide the monologue into sections that are related~ Go to sparknotes and read the translation so that u can full understand the monologue to add the appropriate expressions.

Yeah, that just about sums it up. I played the two videos pertinent to my part a few times a day. At first, I tried reading along, timing myself to the actors (I trust in them and the director). Then, I tried reading ahead a little without the script. If I forgot a part, then they'd catch up and I'll get the prompting I need to remember what's left. Eventually, I had the whole scene memorized and just did it.
How was your monologue, Ruchira? Did you record it?

The monologue was so hard to memorise. But we finished our monologue finally.
