Soo... we are doing the trial that decides whether Brutus is guilty or not in assassination of Julius Caesar. My character is judge and i totally support prosecution side and i have no idea how defense side is going to beat the prosecution side. Brutus totally participated in killing Julius Caesar and even though it was for good of Rome you still cant just go and kill. Its not my final thought though, still need to listen the arguments from both sides but logically im slighting to prosecution side.
So what are your thoughts on the outcome of this trial??
I don't really know. I have a feeling that the prosecution team is going to win because it seems like they have more evidence than our team (defense team) does. I heard Ruchira say that our team is going to lose so I'm kind of not really sure. I'm so desperate about Ms. Boyd's strict grading. However, I will not give up and try my best to win the trial and good grade. I really want to encourage you guys to try your best!

I think prosecution team will win because majority thinks that it was not right to kill Caesar for Rome. There are few evidence that the defendant team will prove that the action was right. However, I don¡¯t guarantee that prosecution team will 100% win because defendant team is consisted of people who disagree with the assassination. They could use the thesis we discussed on class and ¡®dig¡¯ through it (I¡¯ll call this as reverse engineering). Defendants know what prosecution team will say, but defendants have few ways to claim assassination was right. Because of this balance inequality, I think prosecution team will win.
hk416 suxs cuz i mde 666666 * 100^666666 kilz wit it
i think the prosecution team will win because they are against brutas and there is a lot of actual proof that brutas is guilty, where as the defense team has to usually make stuff up. but our made up stuff has to make sense and agree with the rules. so it's pretty hard for us. although, we are trying our best but i don't think we're gonna win..

Nobody knows which side is going to win the trial. I believe defense team has lots of things to say against Caesar to justify Brutus's action. I won't go any further but the fact that Brutus stabbed/ led to Caesar's death tells us he's already guilty. I'm not so sure how the defense team is going to argue against the prosecution team's arguments. It's going to be interesting though if I get to see points that I never expected.
The prosecution team will win for sure because they have more evidence than our team and everyone knows that Brutus actually killed Caesar. We can't say that he didn't kill Caesar because its in the play so there is no way we can win. OBVIOUSLY But I know that our team will try our best to fight with the other team, I just hope that we won't get too serious that it turns into a real right though hahaha good luck everyone!
Well, we can't really predict who is going to win the trial, because we don't know which evidence each team have. However, personally, I think the prosecution is more advantageous than the defense team, because Brutus killed Caesar, so it would be hard for the defense team to prove that Brutus is innocent.

I think what matters is not the arguments both sides have, but how they deliver their arguments. Even though we have good evidences and arguments, it's no use if we can't say it well right? But I personally think prosecution team will win. It's not because I'm on that side, but I think prosecution has more evidences to prove Brutus is guilty.
I personally think it's not possible to guesss which side is going to win because that's how trials are something that can't be guessed if tiral was supposed to be told by how good each side is prepared then there is no point of doing trials.
Well, as Woojung said, even though you have great evidences, if you can't elaborate it, than it is in no use, right? Since in our class there are lots of ELL thingy students so it would be hard for us to elaborate. And it will also take long time to make them understand. But I think they are working hard. Anyway, I don't know what does other team or other class people have for their evidences, but there are a lot. And I'm getting nervous to fight back against Kevin. I am so relieved that Kevin is Pompey not a defense team. But this trial sounds quite interesting but lots of work. I think the winning of trial depend on how hard you worked and how many good evidences and come backs you make. Well, Woojung is good at this.
it really depends on ho good the team does. many people say that the prosecution team will win, but the defense team can totally win too if they prepare well and have their information ready. There are evidences and reasons to state that brutus is not guilty. im on the defense team, and i think that we can win if we try our best!

the prosecution team has a higher advantage since they got proof that brutus killed caesar and most of the time, you really can't prove murder as non-guilty unless if it was from self-defense which apparently isn't the case. many can say the Brutus's action was reasonable and the death of ceasar was necessary but really, how can you prove a guy was gonna do bad things if he's already dead to do anything? so yea, i believe that the prosecution team will win but as always, you never know what might happen

Brutus stabbed a well-known, probably well loved general who was about to be crowned king. I personally think that there should be no trial at all, and that Brutus should just do his time or face death row. But, since we have to have a quarter project, I think the prosecution is gonna win, definitely, but I still think seeing what the defense has to come up with will be interesting.
It's going to be extremely hard for the defense team, I feel really bad for them because like it's already proven that Brutus killed Caesar, and they have to defend him it's going to be really hard for them, I think that the prosecution team has more chance of winning, I'm not saying that they are, but odds are more in their favor. But hey, winning isn't mportant in this assignment, what's important is understanding
