what if everyone was a transcendentalist? what if someday, the norm is to be a transcendentalist, doing whatever you want and doing what someone else tells you just because they told you so is considered as the odd? how'd the world be different from today? well, this is just some kinda funny imagination i had but i think that if so, then whenever i walk on the streets or in the subway i think i might be able to see almost everyone who is listening to music dancing outside. from little 10 year olds to old 60 year old people (as long as their body can let them;; , everyone would be just dancing on their way to where ever they're going. what other things do you think you'll might be able to see if everyone were to be a transcendentalist?

XDXD i think this will turn the world into a cartoon show XDXD where as you said, many "weird" acts will be performed everywhere~ but it wouldn't be much of a problem, since everyone doesn't care how others view them. Something i imagined will be everyone wearing pajamas wherever they go. No one will be judging on how you wear or what you wear. Everyone will aim for how comfy you feel. So, no more skinny jeans, super high heels, etc. XDXD Everyone can start a pillow fight whenever they want XDXD :3

I also think if I wanna be a transcendentalism, I must be weird. I will paint skin color of a girl who is in my picture is green. After this, I will upload it on some website. Maybe someone will say to me ''the girl who has green skin is so weird.'' and then, I will say "its ok. its my style. You dont have to say anything to my picture. I just believe in myself." I know its so wierd. However I have to do somthing bucause its my homework.

TRANSCENDENTALISM WILL BECOME MAINSTREAM Now thinking for yourself is thinking the way society wants! We have a parabox! We are doomed! You have divided by zero!
*KaPOW*
Seriously, though, it is interesting. I thought about this for a while and I have no idea what to expect out of everyone expressing themselves however they want, with no one caring either way. For one, I imagine there will be far more interesting buildings. I've seen some crazy designs (Mobius Strip house was pretty cool), and perhaps we'd implement a whole new city based on that.
We could also replace our weapons with something silly, like kamikaze Irish or confetti tanks.
And imagine this became the norm:

Well I personally think when being transendentalist becomes norm pretty much world is going to be in chaos because you know everyone in there life for once had this moment where your instinct tells you to punch someone's face but you couldn't because people around you was watching you. But in other side it would be really fun to see because everyone or most of the people will be dressing very diffrently then now days. Like Ms. Boyd gave us as example going to coffee shop or restraunt with her friends in PJs, well her intinct tell her you should because it's really relaxing but just for sake of her friends and people thinking wierd and her friends being ashamed she decided to change and go out. So if being transendentalist becomes norm I think this world will be very funny to watch how world goes on.

What if you were a violent individual, and thus wanted to live a violent life? It would be impossible for us to not care about how people acted, especially if it invades other people's rights. For example, what about nudists? Walk around naked in public all day? How's that for transcendentalism?

If everyone was transcendentalist there will be lots of violence because everyone has different opinions and he or she is unique from others. For example, a decision can be hardly made in a meeting because of different opinions. Even so, there will only be no response or decision made by majority. And once the decision was made, there will definitely be some people who hate it. And keep in mind that this is when everyone is transcendentalist. They might practice either peace, violence, or silence (hate it but remaining silent) to change the decision. Here, there will be a fight between ones who will maintain the decision and ones who will change the decision. Or there could be an internal fighting in the side where people want to change the decision (peace vs. violence vs. silence).

I don't think that everyone in the world can be a transcendentalist, however if everyone were, I think that it would have been a fun scence to watch. I think of this because if people all have their own ideas, then they will go against each other to make even one person to believe in their idea or at least make them admit it.

I also don't think it's a realistic thing to happen but if everybody was a transcendentalist, I think that the world would be full with randomness. One example that I can think of is people singing and dancing while going anywhere and talking aloud in front of the public. I think that it would be the norm of the society for people to see those things daily. Then, there would be the transcendentalist of the changed society who sticks onto the previous one. So it would be a cycle basically. Hahahaha

I am pretty sure I would see all the weird things as Justin has said. Some people would be dancing in the subway or some might wear pajamas to school and more. If this happens, I would be laughing to death wherever I walk to. I would be laughing till I cry! Also people would have more interesting life being transcendentalist and watching transcendentalists.
But if this occurs, we would be living in chaos. Everyone will do all kind of thing that will mass up the place, and people wouldn't care about the law since there is no standard of right or wrong. So they would believe that law isn't right for themselves and not follow it. This would recur many problems and disorders in the society. And there would be new trend anyway, so everyone being a transcendental won't really matter. I think it will pass like other fads.

I think that people would start to fight against each other because everyone is different from each other. But if I would have to create my own transcendental world, I would like everyone with express who they really are in a positive way. I would like to see people dancing and singing all day long, doing what they want to do and not caring about that other thinks, do what they are happy doing instead of fighting. Since some people in the society starts wars and fights just because they are depressed and the society is always saying no to them. If we say yes to those people, allowing them to do whatever they want then there would be less violence in the world

I don't think that is good idea. The world has balance, everything has balance so we should follow the norm that is good for everyone that your action doesn't disturb others. If every people become transcendentalist, they gonna do what they want is like living without rules. Exp: you can not pick your nose during the meeting just because it is comfortable for you.

I think because everyone is a transcendentalist, there would be no transcendentalist. If everyone becomes a transcendentalist, then that makes everyone normal, which is following their own instincts and living like they want to.

For me, the world would be a chaotic place to live. I honetly can't imagine what the world full of transcendentalist would be. I think it'll be full of random things. Like you said, everyone dancing and singing in the subway, wouldn't that be pretty crazy?... Also, if you think deep, I think the word random or weird would dissapear. because.. if everyone is constantly doing something weird, would that be consider weird or random?.. It's very confusing and complicated to tell.. haha
