The recent story on Martin Luther King has given me a question. What inspires you?
Martin Luther was one inspirational orator. He inspired millions to rise from the shackles they were chained in and look for a better way. This bettered humanity as a whole, inspiring not just them, but also all future generations, into seeing that we are all humans, all brothers, all sisters, all part of the same world living under the same cosmic roof.
But I know not everyone draws inspiration from Martin Luther, nor could they. But I'm asking you now: What gives you inspiration? What motivates you to go on the path you have chosen—to do what you want to do?
I'm inspired by techno-optimists and futurists. I'm inspired to work to transcend the human biology: Create intelligence, acquire immortality, construct an entire universe within the confines of our minds, discover everything in the universe to understand everything. I'm driven to explore the universe, to ascend death, to acquire infinite abilities and to be, by all definitions, a God.

To me, the North Korean attack on our ship inspired me much.
Before this happened, I viewed North Korea as a poor country that can not attack our country. But after this event happened, I learned that poor country can attack an average country. But sadly, the government didn't work hard to prevent another catastrophe, which lead to island bombing. Moreover, the citizens only reacted angrily for a short time and forgot it immediately. And there are also some strange South Koreans who like North and praise three dictators.
I don't want to be a person like that.
I want to make people patroitic (which is not affected by any outside forces) of their nation and feel that DPRK is a main enemy that we should be aware of it every time.

For me, people in the media inspires me.
Honestly, I get inspired by Psy these days. It's just amazing to see how people from all over the world get amazed by his talents. By his song, Gangnam Style, Psy has not only earned so much money but also fame and respects from the world. I once watched a program in which Psy was interviewed, I was inspired by his passions and persistence. Even though his father is a rich businessman and wanted Psy to run his business, Psy seeks for something his liked. His whole family disapproved his dream of being a singer, Psy played around in Gangnam and constantly did what he liked, dancing, singing, and going to clubs. He was a perfect "trouble maker." Psy had spent about 6,7 years in the army, which I personally think it was due to his "trouble-making" character. However, Psy knew what path he was going toward. He never gave up and kept working until he showed his own, original music to the world. People loved Psy's randomness and uniqueness in his music video, Gangnam Style.
Well, that was just how Psy ended up being the greatest artist of Korea. But anyways, what I was inspired by Psy is that if you work toward what you like and want to achieve, honestly, you can be anything you want. I decided to be passionate about what I would want to do in the future so that I can be successful like Psy. There are more people that I get inspired by, but that was an example I liked to share.

It depends. I'm inspired by competitors, good grades, and tests, when I study. When I have a feeling that I have to do this is when others are doing that. I'm kind of lazy person...so.. unless the others are doing it, I don't feel like to do such thing. In these days, freaking SAT inspires me to study, because almost every single one of my friends talk about studying SAT... I know that I'll feel kind of scared by the time when I take that test...Anyways.. But mostly, my family inspires me. In many different ways. I can't specifically tell but.. I think most people are inspired by their families. I don't know why, though.

There's a whole variety of what inspires me but those that do most would be the ones that I have interest in which are related to engineering. I have this feeling of admiration and awe whenever I see an article or a demonstration of new technologies that can greatly enhance our world. I become motivated to think, "I'm gonna make something like that someday." My dream is to become an engineer after all. But the inspirations I receive don't necessarily need to be from actual things. I also get deeply inspired by the people who create the actual things, how they view the world and what visions they have for their life. As all great people do, they display a common trait of certainty of their live's goals. Their exemplary traits are also a great inspiration to me. However, these are simply the inspirations that move me most. There are so much more inspirations that can move not only me but others too. We all each have our most though and mine is those of engineering

After reading a very thought provoking story or book, I feel the urge to write something as well. Like improve my own style and unleash what locked up creativity there is in my brain. It feels amazing to just be able to put down what your mind is working on onto paper. It is amazing how a few sentences, some chords played together or a particularly memorable scene between characters you love played by actors you admire can start such a chain reaction in your mind. It lifts up your spirits as well.

People in the media inspires me and great figures in history inspire me as well. But mostly, I get my inspirations from my grandfather. Seeing him getting so much respect not because of his age but for the things that he has achieved and created. What's better is that after all the things that he has experienced, like Wars and economic crisis, deaths etc, he still lives a perfectly happy life. Also the lesson I learn from him sticks with me for a lifetime. When I don't have the energy to study or simply doing the things that I want to, I think of him and I feel the urge to get up and do the things I need to do. My grandfather is a role model/ inspiration that makes me keep going forward when I;m too depressed.

Big inspirtaion for me is when i know at the end i will benefit something or someone by doing something from myself. Like community services or great people that became the greatest from the scratch. It is inspires me a lot because you can also do those things and even become greater than anyone else and that reward that awaits you after all the hard work. The benefits that you will bring to people and make them happy. After all that you look back and realize that you didnt just benefit yourself, you benefited other people around you too.

In my life, things that inspire me are the artworks by numerous famous artists. It's because whenever I lack ideas what to draw, I always get inspiration by the artworks by famous artists. After I see them, I start thinking in my mind what to draw or which idea would be good to draw. I think to become an artist, it is important to have your own unique drawing style, but I also think having a lot of experiment is another important thing.

When I was young, I wanted to be an artist. Leonardo Da Vinchi was one of my wannabe. He was smart, good at art and best at everything. Like he was good at engineering and biology. But as I grow up, my dream changed. I wanted to join UN, so Ban Ki Moon was who inspired me. I have read many of his books, and I really liked him.
But now, nothing really inspires me except media. Media inspires me in many ways, media inspires me what to wear, how to study, what to buy, what is the trend and many more. These have great affect one me, I am changing constantly as media changes. I believe most of the people in my age are hugely influenced by media as well.
I wish I have someone who inspires me for my future soon.

My perspective that tomorrow is better than today so i just think about that and still glad to do what i have to do even i hate that. Honestly, money, fame, power,... is not important to me even past, now or future. I just want to become good person in the future because i want to repay my family for everything they have done to me.I don't want my life to go meaninglessly and make bothering to my family.

I am inspired by a lot of things in world but what inspires me the most is inventions of new technologies that make our life very easy. For example the internet, we can know about anything we want from the internet by just sitting at home. Prices, places products etc i want to create something that will make human life a whole lot easier. That is why i try hard to improve in science and maths. Technologies inspires me a lot.

In my life,
surroundings inspired me a lot. I personally think that nurture is what makes us an individual rather than nature. Nature, genes are passed on to us and it creates our physical appearances and it's just like an identity card. However, nurture, the things that surround us and the believes our surrounding makes are what inspires us. When i compare myself to right now and when i was in middle school, i'm very different. What i am right now are all influenced by my surroundings and my education. Simply, my surrounding inspires me the most, and has made me who i am right now.

Well, to me, I don't remember anything or anybody that inspired me up until now. I look forward to find my inspiration someday so that maybe I can decide what I want to be when I grow up.
