I agree. Without emotions, we would have no purpose of life. I just came from Kevin's post about awe and how it motivates us to survive. That itself is such a good example of why emotions are necessary. Even emotions like awe, happiness, sadness, and anger are the motivations of our daily actions to large scale dreams and goals. So we really need emotions and what the women said in the movie about life being useless without emotions and that a breath is just a time ticking without emotions is completely true and I agree with her.

I also do agree with her, without breathing, life is useless. We are alive because we have to learn how to make mistakes and feel different emotions that we feel through the experienced of different life events. If there is no emotions, life wouldn’t be challenging and fun right? As we all know, humans likes to be challenge and do the “impossible” all the time. If we didn’t have emotions, then we wouldn’t have these amazing inventions and other interesting events that makes us who we are now!

Yup I totally agree with the lady who said this. If I was living in a world like that I would've committed suicide, seriously though. What's the use of living without emotions without love, hatred, sadness, etc. Without emotions you probably don't have any interests with anything, without people having any interests, there isn't any new innovations and changes. Without those what's the purpose of life? Without emotions you are wasting time for nothing.

I think it has good things when it doesn't have emotion I think they doesn't have sad or angry but it is bad it doesn't have emotions they can not feel when the kill someone it is important to know it is bad thing to kill people

there's no point of living if we can't feel anything its just no point. I wouldn't want to live that way, its just a waste of time.

I agree, emotions are what keeps us humans alive. Who would want to live without emotions anyway? maybe only by being forced, but no one would personally give their own emotions. Emotions are what keeps us strong and motivated to do things that we think are impossible or unrealisitc. With emotions we have no limits or boundaries. With out emotions there are no fun to have.

wow, I totally don't remember that part. that is a great line by the way. life without emotions is boring, it's no fun. it's not worth living but i give this opinion from my perspective. if i grew up in a community where EVERYTHING was controlled like in Equilibrium, i would just accept it as my fate, doing what the authority says is the norm and i would follow that norm. i might want to rebel but i would probably be to scared to.
