I predicted the story to finish in a very happy and joyful ending instead of the trajic ending, Nora leaving Helmer alone. Also in the play, I saw how much the Nora actually had such a mature personality than any of the characters. I thought that she was just a character that likes to spend money like a child. In this play, it seemed that the main character learned her mistake and life and she wanted to find a chance for herself to fix the things that went wrong and become a better person.

I dunno, Jisu. I don't think the ending was tragic. In fact, I suspect the ending would've been tragic if Nora DID stay with Helmer; he is a rather terrible husband, and I predict the abuse and denigration will only continue.
Plus, Nora discovered for herself her definition of "freedom." In a way, both Linde and Nora found their happy endings: Linde finally found a family she could work to provide for (finding her purpose in life) and Nora freed herself to learn about the world (also finding the purpose in life). Both women now have a clearer direction of where they wish to go. The only thing missing is the ruin of Helmer. :s

Well.. although we are done with reading the story, I will say what I thought when we were still reading the story. I also thought that Nora's personality will someday cause some serious problem since she was very childish and liked money a lot.
