In my opinion, the idea of gender roles in 19th century wasn't wrong. I think it's just that people nowadays have changed. Back then, women didn't care even though they were treated poorly. But these days, when women are treated unequally, people think it's a wrong thing. I think the time changes people's perspective.

i really didnt like it when i first heard that women had no rights, and they were treatened like property. I think that they (the women) should have had rights back then too. All they could do was cook and watch after children. They should have freedom. I see them like slaves back then. Today, however, it has gotten much better. Women can do anything they want.

19th century Europe must be an aweful place for women, while like a paradise for men I dont like it

i agree that women had no rights which i dont like i mean they should be treated equally but they were treated like kids and its funny how women at that time didn't care about being viewed as lower than men and that concept still goes on today which i dont agree.

I think the women who were loved and taken care of by their husband had no problems in thinking that they were lower than men. Or they were brought up by the teaching pf men women being under men in society so they didn't think much. I think it was not right because men and women should have equal rights because they both are human.

I think that they were raised by their parents by the teaching that men are above women in society so I don't thnk they care that much. I think that men and women should be given equal rights because both are human.

That time the women didn't have right to vote so it was sad they can't do things what they want to do.
