Reading The Pedestrian kind of reminded me of when I was young. The pedestrian likes to watch instead of watching television in his home like everyone else does. Although my case isn't as dramatic as what the pedestrian experienced, but I think it's quite similar. When I was in 3rd or 4th grade, I was a bit different from many of the other guys. My hobby was oragami, paper folding. It was very fun how I was able to fold so much things out of a single sheet of paper. But the guys didn't seem to understand why I'd have such a hobby, especially since I was a boy. They were always interested in the cool stuff I made but no one would share my hobby. Like so, did you ever have a time when you liked to do something that everyone else didn't?

I feel like an outcast when it comes to eat kim chee with rice in my family. None of my family members like to eat kim chee with rice except me. Every time we have dinner there is always a plate of kim chee for me. And i can eat as much as i like.

I am pretty much the only child in my family. That is why I mostly spend a lot of time with myself. I also like to do weird stuff as a child. Kind of similar to Luke also, I like to cut out papers and create a scrapbook but when I was a kid I used to call it "dream book" where I cut out random stuff that I wish I will have in the future and things I wanted to do when I grow up. Well, my other friends were spending time playing barbie and playing outside, I wanted to stay in my house and work on my dream book instead. Other kids thought that I was a bit weird but I don't know.. When I looked back into that book, I had found that most of my wishes became true So yeah...

Back in middle school, the people in my class really hated reading. On the second day of school, I brought a Harry Potter book to school to read, and I wondered if any of my new classmates liked it. They didn't. I kinda got made fun of for reading it, and even after they got used to me they still found it weird that I liked reading better than surfing the internet or playing games (it's the opposite now).
And then the Internet glorified the books and now reading Harry Potter is 'like, the coolest thing in the world!!!1'. So they started reading the books too. -_-

When I was in kindergarten and elementary school, I liked to collect games and play them. It wasn't a hobby of typical young girl. So I didn't hang out with my girl friends because I didn't have mutual hobbies with them. But I didn't care since I liked playing games by myself. I don't know when and why I started collecting games, but I think it was my brother who influenced me. Oh lol. To think about my childhood, I was lonely

I also like to do weird stuffs by myself when I'm alone. I don't think it's a bad thing, because it makes you to feel better when you're stressed out about something. When you do what you are comfortable with, you forget about the problems or worries you have.

That's why Luke could fold papers well. Because if you see his projects, it is awesome. It's really neat unlike mine, which is messy. Everything is everywhere. I used to like origami too, even though I gave up every time. Anyway this reminds me of one of my friend who is really weird. She thinks differently from us.
One day, she, her name is Cherry, came up to me and grabbed my bottle of water from me. I was wondering why and she said she watched a documentary about bacterias and water is full of bacterias. She said I am going to die. She believes if fly rests on her wound (like where she bled), she will get infected and die. She watched a documentary of apes (she loves watching documentaries) and said she will be a monkey one day, which is very abnormal. She still believes I will die soon and I hope she is wrong.

I hate to admit this, but, when I was in elementary, i was quite a crybaby. I was very sensitive about what people said things to me. One thing I remember was that my friend said to me that I was short. I cried alot. I cried in front of that friend and yelled at him saying, 'do you know how it feels to be short? If you dont know, then stop saying that to me!' haha if i think of those times, i feel really embarrassed. I do cry these days too, but i only cry when someone accuses me or sth hahaha well, i didnt see anyone cry more than me before, until i met yeajin. She cries as much as i did when i was in elementary. hehehe

In the past, i remember being the super quiet one at school. I think i sill am Anyways, every time when my classmates talk a lot and cheer up the atmosphere, i usually just smile for a second and return into my silent mode. I don't know why, but i just can't think of anything to say. I'm always the one listening to others. Now I've changed a bit, but still i usually can't think of anything to say

When I was young, I used to explore unknown areas located around my home instead of playing games. I didn¡¯t play games before because I was not familiar with using computer. There were lots of places around my home (such as suburbs) where I never went with my family and where I don¡¯t know what were there. I was curious, so I went to these places alone. One time, I even walked for about 6km. And just saying, a path where I walked before is permanently memorized.
