I totally agree with you that it is really hard, dramatic and too long... if they have a version that we can easier understand that, it will help a lot.

julius ceasar is killing me, i mean if it was in modern english it would very helpful to understand, for me it takes 10 minutes to understand each monologue or saying.

Original version is so difficult for me And I read Japanese version. I have to more read this play. This play is soooo profound story.

I'm very happy that we're almost done with Julius Caesar, It was like the worst Shakespearean play that I have read, i dont know about others, but that's just me

I think Julius Caesar occupying the throne would've spelled doom for the people of Rome. Sure, they love him now, but think about 10 years into his rule. If he hasn't been assassinated, the people of Rome would've been slaves in the form of free men. Oxymoron! The final test that the conspirators gave before his death proved that Caesar had already been swallowed by the darkness of Power, and he would've been a merciless ruler. Something that no empire needed.

I think Julie Caeser has hard english words but it teach me alot of lesson.

I didn't like the play that much, honestly speaking. The play is hard. The name of the play should have been something else because the name Julius Caesar suggests that the play is about Julius Caesar but really he just dies in an instant.
