c'mon guys post stuff!!! ok, so what are ur ideas for the article. i want to make it juicy like kind of how tmz make clebrities look but at the same time i feel like keeping it close to what it actually is. how about u? also another thing that i'm really curious about is, what do you think about brutas? do u think he's the bad guy or the good guy or the dumb guy? i actually agree with how Shakespeare meant to show him, which is as a good friend of Caesar's but a nobleman of rome. most people if not everybody loved and honored brutas and thought he was great. and butas actually came from a royal, noble family. his ancestor was one of the people to make rome a republican so yes. i think that brutas was just doing what he found best for rome even if he was tricked into it, i don't think he was dumb for that though. what are your thoughts?
I think that Brutus is just a dumb person who wants what the best for Rome. To Brutus, Rome is his home and his number 1 priority. He would do anything for Rome and to achieve the safety of Rome, he had to kill Caesar because there was a possibility that Caesar was going to be a threat to the country.
I think although he's a noble man that values honor, he is quite stupid and too stubborn. He is obsessed with honor. He can't come up with his own mind. It's until Cassius falsely gives him the idea that the public wants Caesar dead when he finally makes up his mind. Not only that but it's his value for honor that makes it so easy for Cassius to convince him. Cassius, unlike Brutus, would do anything to get what he wants even if it means shame upon his name. So Brutus gets manipulated by Cassius without much thought. He must be a bit flexible in order for him to be more practical and realistic like Cassius.
I believe his honor for Rome is not only his own personal value but also one of his public images. In my opinion, his internal conflict between friendship and Rome's prosperity is pretty justified. His background makes him such a noble and honoroble man as known to everybody in Rome. Therefore, he might have forced himself to satsify people's expectations and himself as well. But I personally agree with you guys with the fact that he was easily persuaded and didn't quite know which one of his values was his priority. It would've been hard for Brutus but if I was him, I would've just stepped out of whatever he had with those conspirators. Friendship is a huge deal.

I agree with Brandon, I think that Brutus is a guy who can be easily persuaded by other people. Which this reflects the society that we are living in. People are easily persuade and most of us follow what other people say because they don't want to be an outsider and they are too worried about satisfying other people. Just like Brutus and how he wants the citizens of Rome of be satisfy about his after he had read the letter (Fake one).
I believe that Brutus is a person that cannot be a loyal best friend. He is a person whom is easily persuaded, and easily betrays. A person like that cannot be a loyal friend neither a meaningful friend. A person like that will get paid back with something else. And I guess Brutus got paid by killing himself.
According to the play, Brutus got easily persuaded by Cassius. I don't think easily being persuaded does not mean that Brutus is not royal, because he followed what was right. Like most of us, we easily get persuaded by people if we think that they are right. Brutus did what was right for Rome society.
I dont really think that Brutus is much of a bad guy, he is just extremely naive and does what people tell him to do without even really thinknig over about it. Still no matter how naive and easily persuaded person you are, you cant kill your best friend even though he is very arrogant and stuff. Friend stays friend, but Brutus was too inlove with Rome that he even sacrificed his own best friend for the good of it.

To me, Brutus is stupid because he is easily persuaded by Cassius. He had no personal opinion and he just listened to what Cassius said. I believe that he had no choice whether to save Rome or to save his friend. It depended on how Brutus view them. Still, giving the neutral opinion and believing Cassius proves that Brutus is dumb.
hk416 suxs cuz i mde 666666 * 100^666666 kilz wit it
I think he really wanted to do what's best for the country, but instead of listening and accepting what others tell him, i think he should have his own thoughts or at least find the real answer instead. He simply fell for the fake letters and ended up killing his friend. After all, he was convinced because the thought that the citizens also feared Caesar. So i think he is still a loyal person, but just got tricked by the clever Cassius. omg >< Cassius is so mean ><
Cassius is soooo evil, he can easily play with people like they are puppets, and because of this Brutus got easily persuaded by him. I think that Brutus is a very nice person that really cares about his country, I also think that he is very courageous because he was friends with Caesar (right??) and is willing to do anything for his country even if his relationship with CAesar will break.
I consider Brutus as a dumb guy. He was being too stubborn throughtout the story. As a both nobleman of Rome and a good freind of Caesar's, he should've thought more more careful when he decided to take the action of assacinating Caesar. Also, I mean, as a freind of someone's don't you think you have to do something else rather than just killing him just because he was being harm of Rome? If I were Brutus, I would discuss things with Caesar and try to make things out. Instead of just fall for the fake letter and decide to kill him.
I dont think Brutus is a dumb guy because he did have internal conflicts; it's not that he just chose to kill Caesar even though Caesar is his friend. If you see in scene two or sth, Brutus's wife is very concern of Brutus because he seemed to have a serious problem, which Brutus was wandering whether to kill Caesar. Because Brutus decided to kill Caesar after a great thought, I don't think he is a dumb person.
