ok so, today in class, i mentioned that Caesar was not worried about or bothered by Mark Antony, at all! Caesar, hates cassius because he said that cassius thinks too much, he's dangerous (to caesar's position). however, caesar felt the absolute opposite about antony. antony was someone who loved life and lived in the moment, he was like the party animal. caesar didn't think that Antony would care to take over his rule. but i think that caesar should've been concerned about antony, wasn't antony in line to rule after caesar..? and after caesar died, antony promised to keep his murder a secret, but he didn't. OR NO WAIT! maybe antony was supporting caesar, getting back at his murderers. oh now, i'm confused. OK! i'm going with my 2nd idea, antony was a loyal friend and nobleman to caesar. what do you think?

In my opinion, I think Antony has great ambitions but he is smarter than another people. Of course, the final winner is Antony .

I believe that Mark Antony is a good guy because he seems to be loyal to Caesar and he doesn't seem to abuse his authority. Also, when Cassius's plan to overthrow Caesar succeeded, Antony told the truth of Cassius's scheme to the citizens of Rome. It seemed that he was satified with his position of power. He doesn't have any greed for power.

I think Mark Antony is a bad guy. Like Ms. Boyd said, I think he's like the stupid sidekick type of guy on the bad side. Even though he's stupid, he's still a bad guy who's supporting the evil side. I agree with your 1st idea. Caesar should have been worried about Antony as he was with Cassius.

I don't think Antony is a bad guy, because he seems to be satisfied with his life. That means that he won't be jealous of Caesar's power. He wouldn't have any thoughts about rebelling against Caesar since he doesn't get jealous. I think Caesar's thought about Antony is right.

I think that Mark Antony is the bad guy. He might act as a loyal friend toward Caesar to gain all of Caesar's trust and love, but in the future he might turn into Caesar's worst enemy because the people who is close to him will hurt him. Mark Antony might be very smart to think of a plan to take over the power in the future.

I honestly don't think that Antony is a bad guy. As Yeajin said, he can be compared to a person who is considered as a stupid partner. But I've never seen a case where those people go against their partners because they don't think too much and just live right at the moment. I believe Antony is portrayed as a loyal person to Caesar. I'm not entirely sure about this but he might join the conspirators later in the story. But by what we know, I don't think he's a bad guy.

I dont think that antony is a bad guy, he was one of the few guys who really supported ceasar and really cared cared about him. It might seems that he is doing too much of supporting that looks suspicious of him taking over after ceasars death, but i dont think that mark antony is a bad guy, cuz all he does is loving ceasar.

I think that Mark Antony is a bad guy. Even if Antony was supporting caesar and cared about him, he might've done that in a different and other intentions. I have a feeling Antony knew what was going to happen to Caesar and just supported him without any meaningful meanings. And yes i agree with yeajin and ruchira, maybe Antony was just acting all innocent, but still had an evil side.

Sadly, we all saw the video clip of the whole play so we know, or at least I know what happened at the end; Antony ends up taking rule after Caesar. I think that he planned all this from the start, to take Caesar's place and rule Rome. Although he appeared to be a faithful supporter of Caesar, he probably just stuck around with him just waiting for the right timing to take over Rome.

I don¡¯t think Antony is a bad guy because he was loyal to Caesar, loved Caesar, and told the conspirators¡¯ assassination of Caesar despite the threat from conspirators.

This is actually a hard question, because I think there is no true bad or good person in reality. You know, all of us have both left and right ( Allusion! World on turtle's back!). It is really hard to categorize someone into this kind of category.
But if we have to choose one, I think Mark Antony is more like "right one". Well, he was loyal to Caesar and believed he will do the right thing, and that is what friends do. And he also considered Roman citizens and tried to improve their lives. He believed Julius Caesar will do some sort of reformation that can develop the empire, which is benefiting citizens.
Since Julius Caesar wasn't a bad guy, (well, it depends on you if he is good or bad. But I think he was right one.) Mark Antony, supporting him, would be a nice guy as well. This question above can lead to another question: Is Julius Caesar good guy? But I think most of us think he is nice one, so I think Mark Antony was nice too. If Mark Antony had other intention, he would have started the conspiracy. And he wouldn't try to support Caesar after his death. Rather, he will praise himself.
That's what I think.

Oh my god, at first, I really thought that Antony is just a guy who follows the power and enjoys his moment right now. However, after reading act3, I really thought that Antony is so loyal. It seemed that Antony is sucking up Brutus so that he could survive, but it turned out that he had this plan to persuade the commoners bak and tell the truth. He made every one to turned to his side and was successful. He's really honorable and loyal I think.

XDXD i thought antony was just a simple minded and a very easy going follower. He is pretty loyal to Caesar despite the conspirator's explanation. I think he made a fake agreement with Brutus just to get out of trouble. If he disagreed then he might not live and give the speech that got the conspirators punished. I think that move of his gave him another dimension of his character. Even though he is a follower, he does his job well~~ Being loyal and supportive to the ones he follow~~

When Antony makes the speech about Caesar after his death, trying to provoke the crowd really makes me want to hate him. He's so annoying and this part, to me shows Antony's true self. When Caesar was alive, he was all happy and loving life, partying hard and care free. But after he dies. Antony all of a sudden cares about the tyrant. OR maybe he was really close and loyal to Caesar and wants to get back at Brutas for killing his boss
