SPACE PONIES.
Today I learned that Ms. Boyd lets us RECORD video/audio IN CLASS. So I thought, "why not?" This is the discussion of the timeline for Julius Caesar Act III, part one. We are going to continue to discuss this tomorrow, so I'll update it when I get home.
Video:
2.27.2013 Day One
2.28.2013 Day Two
Special, because Stephen told me not to:
Act IV Discussion
Sergey's Monologue, Caesar's Death, Honorable Death:
(9:23 is when Sergey's monologue begins)
Lin and Mine Monologue:
I'll try to get the other two videos (including Sergey, mine, and Lin's monologues) by tomorrow. Youtube current;y won't accept them due to length, so I'll break it up and render it when my computer is free.
WE ARE NO LONGER DOING A TIMELINE HERE, SEE QUEEN BOYD'S POST.
Timeline (To be Updated)
Here's how it works:
1. This shows the main point.
1a. This shows details/connections for 1.
1. Julius Caesar ignores/dismisses all the warnings given to him in the beginning of the scene.
2. "We Got Nuthin' . . . Our timeline is suckin'." - Ms. Boyd
3. "We Got Nuthin' . . . Our timeline is suckin'." - Ms. Boyd
4. Julius Caesar gets stabbed by all the conspirators
This is important because:
tbc
Also, since there are two English classes, could someone from the other universe post here and update regarding what they've discussed. We should try to piece together everything here and we'll have an easier timeaccusing Ms. Boyd studying for those stupidly loooooooong questions in the tests.

Edit 1: 3.3.2013 Updated timeline, uploaded two videos, we are still missing some videos.
Edit 2: 4.8.2013 Late? I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT LOOK THERE'S A PLANE A BIRD A CAR!

Timeline (To be Updated)
Here's how it works:
1. This shows the main point.
1a. This shows details/connections for 1.
1. Julius Caesar ignores/dismisses all the warnings given to him in the beginning of the scene.
- 1a. THEME: Fate vs Free Will. Artemidorus, in Act II Scene 3, said that the future had already been determined. If Julius Caesar fails to read the letter, then it is fate. Likewise, if Caesar does read the letter, then it is fate. Like all omens/warnings so far, they can be tied to fate/free will and the Roman belief in destiny.
- 1b. THEME: Public vs Private Self. Julius Caesar is losing his private self to his public self; Caesar believes that he is the invincible, humble, brave, and superior king of Rome in public and in private.
For example, in Act II Scene 2, Caesar acts as if he is invincible and brave and ignores his wife's pleading and the other warnings from priests/soothsayers. He ignores these warnings and his own wife because he cannot afford to appear weak in public. If he does, he'll lose support.
2. "We Got Nuthin' . . . Our timeline is suckin'." - Ms. Boyd
3. "We Got Nuthin' . . . Our timeline is suckin'." - Ms. Boyd
4. Julius Caesar gets stabbed by all the conspirators
This is important because:
- 4a. The play is based on history and Caesar did actually die.
- 4b. The first part of the play builds up to it (the conspiracy) and the second part depends on it (the civil war)
