After reading the book, I went on youtube and watched a video, and that video really helped me understand more about Shin. I think it was the third link that Sorn posted hehe. The video that I watched was very interesting because there was a part where the people recorded Shin's interview. He basically said the exact thing that the book said, and he showed the burnt scars on his back, which looked pretty painful. Also, he didn't show clearly, but I saw that he didn't have a knuckle on the middle finger of his right hand. It was an interesting video so i highly recommend to you guys to watch it!!!

Wow. I think it's very helpful site for people who didn't read the escape from camp 14. Well, I read it, but it helped a lot to understand more about the book, his life. Thanks for the link

I wish I read the book! It sound very horrifying. I've been watching some videos on life in North Korea, and they usually show the "elite" people of North Korea, in documentaries. I've heard that this book describes about the "others" there.
