According to my instinct, I'm not actually a transcendentalist but I fight my instinct to be a transcendentalist. I actually like to be unique and I personally don't like imitating others in terms of their achievements or personalities, or whatever it is. But I think it's obviously necessary to follow the majority in terms of law since if you break it, a lot of things would happen to you and it would bring a lot of consequences. So I think it depends on what you're referring to. But I definitely think that being a transcendentalist is good and bad at the same time.

hmmm..I think I'm just alike a transcententalist. But in some way, I'm not. For example, I try not to hit younger people and female. Also I evaluate everyone by my own opinion. Even if other people says the guy is really weird, I evaluate them in my own way, and I take a time for that.

How, exactly, can you go against ALL of society's rules and still survive your twelfth birthday?
As long as you've thought through your important actions, you can be classified a transcendentalist. Seeking approval is built into our nature. So is following the crowd, listening to people you care for, fearing change, and avoiding "negative" people (read: People who are ostracized).
Sometimes, when deciding what to do, you have to factor in those natural biases to decide on a decision. If your goal is to become dictator of the school, you will have to bully those that are bullied and follow some of the larger trends that span the world. It's all up to your goal. Being a transcendentalist does not mean being stupid.

I think disagreeing with people is sort of good thing, when you think you have good point you should defend it because maybe at the end you are going to be the right one, its got to feel good to be the right one i guess. Still you cant agree with everything people say or do, just be yourself, at some points you shoudlnt care what people tell you to do, if you think its right just go for it without looking back at it.

I'm not really sure if I'm a transcendentalist or not, because it depends on the situation. I just follow most of the general ideas because I think it's normal to do it like being quiet in the library or subway, getting good grades, and going to school everyday. However, I do not believe in some ideas and follow my own instincts because I don't care about what other people might say for these situations.

I am never transcendentalism because I usually believe in someone, and I don believe in myself. I tend to change my opinion because of someone.

Well, I don't think I have special transcendentalist characteristic.. but I like to draw alone when my mind is really massed up, because that kind of relax my mind. I think everyone has their own way to get rid of their stress. For me, it's drawing hehe
