In the following video, in which Ms. Boyd gives us her awesome monologue as Mark Antony speaking to Caesar's dead body, we show you the uncut (and more epic) thing. In which Stephen was right. I did lie, a little, for the greater good

We saw Ms.Boyd doing her monologue in our class and she was really good. When I did my monologue, I screwed up a lot. To be honest, I get really nervous speaking in front of my classmates because I came back from America few months ago and haven't really got used to this school yet. However, I hope that I could get along well with other people.

I like how her eyes are looking at the ground to make as if she is actually talking to Caesar's dead body. When I did my monologue, I wasn't even in character. I should try to act better next time I perform monologue.

I am still suprised when I saw her do this like 5 times already. I actually thaught it would have been better if someone actually was lieing there and acting like caesar's body.

I had goosebumps too! It felt stronger than most movies, like the movie actors/actresses are less expressive than the actors/actresses in plays. I think Mr. Edward mentioned something about movie = actions whereas plays = expression last year in Ms. Hampton's class when she was sick. Oh, and I have added a -1 to his Karma; now it's -2

By looking on how she does the monologue I can see that she practiced this quote for a very long time and I can see how she has that confident way of speaking and acting. Even though, speaking to a lot of people can make people nervous.

I like how she really understood her monologue and performed with emotions. Even though in was in the Shakespearian language but I still felt like I understood everything she said through her emphasis of the words, her gestures, eye contact and her hands gestures that provides a lot of clues for the audiences who were watching. I also got goosebumps when she performed it for our class which to be honest, pressured me a little XD

I found it really awesome how someone can remember a monologue that they recited so many years ago. Hopefully I can remember my monologue in twenty years so I can pull out some cool quotes for someone's wedding. But they'd probably facepalm at the idea of someone reading Julius Caesar at their wedding.

I liked how she knew her monologue so well like she didnt stumbled or anything while saying it. She had so much emotions in it, she was into it and i guess that what made it pretty cool and awesome. One more thing that i like is when she was looking down it seemed like she is looking at Caesar's body for real, that made it way better and more creative.
