I agree with you Luke. I think that the most boring things in the world can be thing that we do to seize our day. I personally believe that if I learn at least one new thing, that day was worth getting out of bed for. Even if it's really stupid things like how you spell a word to really advanced things like SATs.

Seizing the day.... Thought it would be easy... but.. it was really hard.. With all the things going around.... I thought i was seizing the day... but I didnt go to seoul land with allll the people I love... and yeah.. I just thought it was really hard to truly seize the day.. seizing the day is especially harder when we are young and we are under parent's control.

I think a combination of doing what you want to do and studying for your future are both seizing the day. Even though we may not be having fun while studying (and who knows, some people actually like studying), we can be satisfied that our future will be a little bit better thanks to that bit of studying we did that day.
And maybe our future selves are doing the things they really, really want thanks to our hard work at studying.

seizing the day? i think that seizing the day would be wanting to do what you would want to do. Something that you urgently want to do. I agree with nadira. seizing the day is really hard.

I believe that anything can be seizing the day as long as your are having fun with what you are doing. If you are having fun fun studying for the SAT's (i don't know who would) then yes, something as boring as the SAT's is seizing the day.

Seizing the day is seizing the day for something that you have planning to do for a long time and couldn't really follow your plans because of other works or just too lazy...
For example I went to play soccer at hannam, there is a soccer field where I have been wanting to play since January and because of Ms.Boyd's assignment i got the chance to go there and play soccer.... .
