Raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell Raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell Raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell
If you don't like What you got Why don't you change it If your world is all screwed up Rearrange it
Raise a little Hell ...
If you don't like what you see Why don't you fight it If you know there's something wrong Why don't you right it
Raise a little Hell ...
In the end it comes down to your thinking And there's really nobody to blame When it feels like your ship is sinking And you're too tired to play the game
Nobody's going to help you You've just got to stand up alone And dig in your heels And see how it feels To raise a little Hell of your own
Raise a little Hell ...
If you don't like What you got Why don't you change it If your world is all screwed up Rearrange it
Raise a little Hell ...
so ms.Boyd told us to write whats the lyrics about... soooo I think this song is about people that want to change the world but they cant because there is always something preventing them. Instead you should change the world in the way you want . Doesnt matter what you do just change the world that will make you happy.

I think this song is telling the listeners to change/fix the world they are in, if they have a problem with it. They are saying no one else will fix it for your but you, yourself has to be the one to change if YOU don't like it. Also in the song they keep repeating the phrase, "Raise a little Hell". I think the Raise has a double meaning of bring up Hell and like actually keeping it in mind instead of trying to ignore it. But also raise, as in raising a child. So when they say raise a little hell, it could mean be a devil in the eyes of society and be yourself. Raise your own hell, your own world.
That was a total guess. That's just what I think.. It's kind of dark so I don't really like it.. haha

I thinkthis song means if you dont like the world, you can change it and be a transcendentalist. It also says that it will be tough and lonely to be one. I reallylikethis song because it totally tells you to be a transcendentalist, which is a perfect example.

I think this song tells how to be a transendentalist. "If you don't like .... Rearrange it" this part tells if you don't like how society is why won't you just act diffrent from other or be transendentalist and follow your instinct. Mostly same for other the whole song is talking about life where you don't like what you have meaning what's near you, the family memeber you have, etc. Asks or tells you to try to change the things near you, if you don't like it.

I think that when the author is saying "raise a little hell"- it means change something. Some people concider somethings that change to be kind of sinful you know what I mean? Anyway, that's what I think it means. The author is saying that if you see something that you dont agree with, but the society thinks is right, and if you do something to change that, the society is going to think that you are evil.
