I think the Gothic looks rare because this type of architecture just developed in mid century, about 13-15 century. But the things like gargoyle and the types of architecture actually using in many ways, for example i think every time when i play rpg game, i saw gargoyle as monsters a lot. Like every time, not the most of. I don't go church, so i don't really know that detail, but actually i followed my aunts to the church, and i think i felt like the Gothic architecture, such as form of the glasses, and the building.

When I lived in Denmark, there were a lot of castles there. They were all very dark and imposing and had moats and turrets and gargoyles. I think those are examples of architecture. We all know about Batman, he's a very dark hero. And we've all seen Twilight (admit it) with it's connections to the supernatural.

some churches have gothic architecture, and old mansions can have gothic architecture i guess. I think I've never been to a place with a gothic architecture, but I would love to, it looks creepy and somewhat haunted.

Although I haven't actually seen one, but I saw pictures of goth cathedrals and castles of Europe. They had stained glass, tall, pointy roof, and the walls were painted gray and black. They looked kind of scary and creepy, but I thought they were very stylish and refined.

I couldn't see the gothic things in my real life. But I saw them in many movies that background is middle ages, and the rpg games. Also I didn't see it, but I guess the attack on titan has gothic things too because it's really dark and their background looks like middle ages + SF stuff.... I guess? I didn't see it yet lol

Well, i have been to a cathedral in china before, and it looked quite gothic to me. Although it was not made to hint Gothic culture, the whole gloomy atmosphere, with a huge room and gray walls, and the gothic style arcs they had made me feel somewhat scared.

I think the castle or Hogwarts in the movie Harry Potter has many Gothic characteristics. The rooms are huge the roofs are pointy and even the windows are pointy too. There are also gargoyles which come to life in the last movie I guess.

Hi, double posting again. Once upon a time, when I was but a wee child, my family and i travelled to a place called Spain. I was too small to remember the name of the city we visited, but I swear that there's a soccer team named after it. Anywhoo, one of the places that we visited was a huge, unfinished gothic building called the Sagrada Familia.
It was the kind of place that inspired nightmares in the minds of small children. There were evil-looking gargoyles everywhere. And gargoyles are a staple of gothic culture. Which was why I considered the sagrada familia to be an example of gothic architecture.
