I forgot to mention one other thing that is being a transcendentalist might get you into huge danger. It might even put you family or people close to you in danger. By being a transcendentalist you can also make a bad name for yourself which in many ways can affect your life. So being a transcendentalist is not always a good idea.

Well there can be lots of bad things to be transcendentalist. Isn't that why we are avoiding to be one of them? In my case, I was scared about what others think about me. So whenever I did weird things such as screaming 'I love Christmas' in the middle of the mall, I would run away, or I would never dare to do it. Sometimes people don't understand of being transcendental. They don't know why we are doing such things.
I once remember in subway line number 3, I was going to my house like 2 years ago. And I saw an Ajosi maybe an ordinary guy, doing all the weird athletic thing with handle on the subway. The handle I mean here is the dangling thingy from the ceiling of the subway. So he was hanging on to it and he was spinning and I don't know, did many things. But I was kind of worried about him because lots of people report things going on in the subway for safety. So I thought maybe one of the passengers in the subway might report what he was doing. This is bad side of being transcendental.

As long as you're a transcendentalist that thinks long and hard about the consequences of your transcendentalism before doing any contrary acts against society, you should be perfectly fine. On the other hand, there's always that chance that you might cut yourself off from society. Despite how much you might hate society at times, you need it, and cutting yourself off from it will only hurt you in the end.

I have the same idea as Luke, being a transcendentalist may lead people to think that you're very weird, because you're doing something different from what others are doing. Therefore, you may end up being an outcast from the society, while you're just doing what you want to do (following your instinct).

I dont think that being a transcendentalist is bad...its good being really unique...you get to show people that you are one of a kind! But some people thinks that this is bad and startes to hate them or something like that...

i agree with luke, well the thing about being a transcendentalism is that one might be separated from society, and as humans, we cannot only live depending on our selves, we rely on others to survive. So, being an transcendentalist can bring you down in that way.

There is nothing bad about being a transcendentalist because, it the way you live your own life and the way you wanna live the way your instinct tells you to live and if you do care about the society's judgment then you are not a transcendentalist not at all...

welll sometimes people do stupid things by saying that they are transcendentalist, maybe it may look kinda scary to us, but for the person who's doing it, its normal for them. Also sometimes people get carried away and think that being a transcendentalist is being different, but that's not it, its about following your insticts.

being a transcendentalist...the impact of people around us can hurt us. But it actually depends on the transcendentalist it self whether he or she can handle it, for some people it would be hard for them and maybe ended up depressed or frustrated..

i think transcendentalist does not care about the others. they just do whatever they want. so sometimes it might be selfish...?
