I would want to ask the reader that if a bad situation comes, think whether it will matter after a year. Also i would ask if the reader can remember any problem that they had last year. Probably majority would say they cant remember the problem. Like this, i would say not to sweat with your problems because it wont matter later.

"You only live your life once." That's what I would write. Is that already pessimistic? hahahaha I don't feel the need to explain what I mean by this.

I would write about finding the positives from the bad outcomes and also to think about something that makes them happy.

I would probably say the same thing.. Always recall the moment where things were worse than this. hmm.. or look for the bright side. I know it is pretty streotypical but sometimes it actually works right?? and.. I would also say people don't know how to truly appreciate until they lose it. or yeah... I hope those things actually help for myself too..

If i was feeling down in the dumps, I'd go home and sleep.
Sleep makes everyone happy. But maybe that's just me since I don't dream. Much.
Then, after I wake up, I eat my favorite food. If your favorite meal happens to be something rare and expensive such as caviar or foie gras or lobster, then too bad! Settle for something nice like ice cream and/or chips. Forget about calories. Then, do something that you're really good at or take pride in. If you do something that you love, then you'll feel good about yourself. And the next step is being optimistic!
Problem solved.

For me, I would suggest to think that you learn something good from your bad experience, so you wouldn't make the same mistake next time. So there's nothing to be pessimistic about. Also, if you are having hard time studying and doing all the projects, I would tell them to think that how you act right now would affect your future. If you finish them, you'll get a better grade, and become a better student and so and so.

I don't like the term dummies which is included on the topic. but An optimistic person will think well at least there is something that is written to help us out. One big bold point of optimism is being hopeful and never loosing hope. I myself think that I am an optimistic person because, Bad things can happen to me but I will only hope for the best...

im just gonna say "be optimistic whenever you want". i dont think to be optimistic should be forced so if you dont wanna be optimistic, you dont have to be! but if you wanna be optimistic, then just try to be.
