What if you were to publish a book that explains how you can be optimistic? What suggestions or recommendations would you write?
I'd like to start out with something like "Always think about times that were worse than this." That's what I mostly try to do every time. I try to cheer myself up in thinking that things could have been much worse.
Oh, same for me! I try to think like that but it isn't that easy. Also I try not to worry about future, frivolous matters. And I try to think of best outcome and not the worst, because I easily get stressed out due to so many things going on in my life. And I would make people eat sweet things when they can't think of anything, but not too much, because eating sweet things actually relives my stresses and I can think better. Also I can concentrate better in academic matter. And I try not to blame myself or blame others because we might get into bad relationship. I think that's pretty much all.
Not really sure but I guess I do the same for you two always think worse could have happened to me because you know like the video Ms.Boyd showed us about the wishes that guy made instead of his phone he got crushed by the car. So recently My hard drive in my labtop got burned and made parts of the hard drive not work which ended up getting rid of all my datas and not allowing me to save anything on my labtop, here there is like no other way to look at in better way but I actually said to myself that at least my computer works so i can actuallly save all the files on internet instead of my computer and also because of my labtop getting broken I noticed I can focus on stduying rather then playing games and going on internet.

When I do something badly, I think "I can do better next time" (although it seems to me that it is the opposite in reality). Also, like Luke and Lin said, I try to think about the worst case scenario when I face predicaments. They do help, and I can get hope from them.
"There are obstacles in your life that you have to get through, if you can get through this one, you are one more step closer to be successful." I would say this because I believe that every obstacles, bad days, bad moments in your life happens for a reason. It is a mission/test to see if you can become successful or not or can you handle those situations or not because your life is full of obstacles that will bring you down. So always think positive and you will over come everything!
oh thats a good thing to think about that, just like you said we should always think of worse situation that because we are more fortunate than some people and its not always the worst thing to happen to you. I think that also you can think and set standards that you will succede and just try to think as positive as possbile, that might not always work but in order to be always positive you have to do it.
I think that I have to write about never giving up and how being optimistic can change the ways of how people can live. This would be an essay about how living optimistically be a good and positive thing that would affect the lives of people.
