Out of the stories we shared during our presentations, which one was your favorite?
Mine was the one where there was the falcon. I just found it too ironic and funny how the woman ended up eating the falcon that would've saved her child. She should've just went straight away and ask for the thing! Her son's life depended on it! Yea...I found that kinda stupid and hilarious. So, how bout you?

i liked utopia actually. I think the entire thing is a satire because even the author named the perfect world 'not here" so obviously he was making fun of the entire idea. And i love that. As Ms. Boyd said, he was a very intelligent guy so it would've been entirely aware of the gaping holes in his story.

I liked the story about the Anunsi the spider, i dont really remmeber what it was about, but I liked how the people there tell stories during the dark hours because of the stories belonged to the Spider, and the Spider hides in the darkness. This story is just so unique

Personally, i enjoyed the illaid, the battle of Troy, ever since i was little i was fond of heroic epics, adventures, mythical beings, gods, that come out from the Greek legends. And i think the batlles of Troy, is like a sum of all of these stories together

I liked The Spy most because there was suspense and for the second time, I saw kids snitching on their parents for Hitler (first time was Escape from Camp 14). I understand how parents felt when their son went outside without informing.
