1. Kurt Vonnegut jr. was greatly influenced by world war 2 as he was in there and even was captured. All of his writing involves some violence and something that relates to world war 2. In addition, it explains the spark of Kurt’s writing career with the book, ‘Slaughterhouse Five’ which was influenced greatly from Kurt’s own experiences with the war, like being imprisoned.

1. Kurt Vonnegut was greatly influenced by World War 2. Even after the war, the memories about it hunt him down, so he wrote many stories about the war. He wrote the stories about it during the war, and even after the war. This clearly shows that Kurt was greatly influenced by it. It pieces together his family situation with his style and focus at the time as well, giving new insight into Vonnegut’s life.

This contained the most information regarding his life—covering the war, his social circle and his family. Several interesting events were also explored here (of the Moon landing, for one) that exemplified his character and stance on government, spending, and vitriol.
