I didn't know any about Caesar because we didn't learned him when I was in japan. Even I didn't who he is. XP But I know about him a little. He had a big power and he was also smart. But he was philanderer. He had many lovers and Cleopatra was also his lover. He had a bald head.LOL.

All I know is that Julius Caesar was betrayed by his own friend and that he was a Roman general who fought against Pompey and won. After that, he was the only one who received all the glory of winning when his comrades did the same amount of work as him. That is the reason why Caesar was backstabbed by his friend.

To say the truth, I really don't know anything about Julius Caesar, both in real history or in the play. Luke said that everyone in World History class, including me, should know about him because we studied about him. But, I should say that I completely forgot about learning him haha. So, through this play, I would like to learn more about Julius Caesar.

I only know that Julius Caesar was a great general in Rome...... not sure what he did to glorify his name. As for the old English, i think that finding alllllll the definitions of the words you don't understand fully is very helpful. Remember annotating act 1 scene 1 with ms boyd? by doing so, i understood easily throughout the play. It takes time~~ but it help

I don't really know about Julius Caesar. All I know is that he ruled Rome as a triumvirate with Pompey and Marcus Crassus. He was a great general who defeated Pompey in the battle. Later, jealous of his power, about many senators assassinated him.

The first time i've heard of Julius Caesar was in World History class when we were learning about Ancient Rome. So, i guess Julius Caesar is a story based on history. Also, before reading all I knew about Julius Caesar was that he was stabbed six times by his friends. But! now i know that Julius was killed after the ides of march on March 15th. And I hope to know more about the characters in depth as we read on.

Well, actually I read the play a long time ago, so I don't think it is going to be that hard for me to read this play or have a test on this. Anyways, from what I remember, ( I read it a long long time ago) is that as Julius Caesar became a huge part of Rome, and as he became more powerful, some group of people are afraid that Caesar might become a dictator. Also, those group doesn't want to state their leader as a "king" so they decided to murder Caesar. That's what I mostly remember.
